If we asked you to name the gentleman's gentleman who has played more than 15,000 shows over the course of his vocation, released 50-plus albums and won 14 Grammys, you could plausibly guess the artist in question is none other than B.B. King [ ].
There is no question King is a national treasure; he's been awarded everything from the "Living Legend" medal by the Library of Congress to the No. 3 spot on Rolling Stone magazine's best guitar players of all time name. Ever the consummate professional, King doesn't stop to tally up the book of Numbers or bask in the glow of his accolades.

He seems casually immune, humbly doing what comes naturally. His latest tone ending, "One Kind Favor," is due to hit the streets on Aug. 26, and, at the age of 82, he's still out in that respect touring--and still showing the kids how it's done.
The fall share of his current turn begins next month (9/6), and he will be on the road right up until the ending of the year.
LiveDaily photographer Tim Mosenfelder attended King's Aug. 9, 2006, show up at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA, as well as his June 14 localise at this year's Bonnaroo fest, where the creative person was awarded the key to the city of Manchester, TN.
